Chapter 22: The Final Phase
“Master, we are ready to begin the final phase of your ingenious plan,” a soldier reported to the Master.
“Excellent,” the Master replied, “Begin the final phase, now!”
The soldier turned and ran back the way he came to deliver his message to the ones that were working on the Master’s plan.
“The End of Days is nearing, humans,” the Master said, “Soon you will be nothing but dust in deep space along with your pitiful planet, and soon the universe will be mine!”
The Master began to laugh manically as, in the shadows trying to stay unnoticed, Venzer slips away to tell the Protectors what his Master is doing so that it will be him—not his Master—that gets to rule the universe.
Venzer just smirks to himself at the thought of betraying his Master just so he can rule the universe instead of his Master.
